Technically No One But Asmo's Killer Is Certain He's Dead.

It's nearly certain since he's missed so many meetings, but surprising things happen when the DO, three powerful ta'veren and the Forsaken are involved. As part of the minority certain Verin was Black Ajah I disagree no major plotlines were resolved (I even briefly considered her actual motive possible until I dismissed it because I didn't think anyone could get away with it long (and realistically, still don't) and definitely not 70 years.) In a sense many of the major plotlines resolved in TGS were "mysteries" because knowing or suspecting the outcome said little about the manner in which it would occur. Many heretofore strong, well defended and widely held theories bit the big one here, and that so many were so wrong so long proves the truth was slightly mysterious. Until now.
There are also three books left so I don't expect Sanderson to kill all the suspense and make the remainder exposition only. The biggest event in the series has never been very mysterious except for the few devotees of the Dark Epic view, and Jordan doesn't seem like Moorcock to me. He has to preserve a few mysteries to keep it interesting, and he needs enough for both the remaining books. Patience is a virtue.

There were wards on the door to get in (which Gateways kinda invalidate).

It's at least consistent Forsaken idiocy, considering what we saw before...

I think that's only for the Amyrlin. IIRC, no one else ever calls initiates daughters.
