Until tGS, I believed that the Seanchean prophecies were corrupted. Two reasons. First, I somehow have a mainland bias. Second, it initially seemed like it would serve the DO better if the Crystal Thone believed that the Dragon must bow before it.
Now, I've got just a bit of doubt. Rand seems to be wavering. He doesn't really want to rule. He observes that the Seanchean rule efficiently and effectively and that the people are relatively happy under their rule. Perhaps the best course would be for him to bow before the Crystal Throne. Perhaps the Karetheon prophecies are the corrupt ones.
