What things irritated you in the book? I mean this strictly from a plot or character PoV, not inaccuracies or problems you had with Brandon's writing. Here are mine..
1. The Aes Sedai calling Nynaeve 'child'. It's so ridiculous that a woman who has accomplished so much is still being looked at as an Accepted.
2. Gawyn still not believing anyone that Rand didn't hurt his mother. Gareth was probably the fourth person to try and pursuade him.
3. The absence of Graendal on screen. In some ways this was her book, but she was absent.
4. Having once again heard no news on what Demandred is doing.
5. Bubbles of evil. They get in the way of everything. Go away.
That is all.
I'm not a Cadsuane hater by any stretch, usually I enjoy her, but I was actually just rereading that part and I wanted to smack her. She's doing that just to push Nynaeve around and make her see "her place" which to me is bullying that they don't really have time for.
The death of Graendal on one hand annoyed me and on the other hand it didn't. It annoyed me because she's one of my favorite Forsaken and she didn't even get a personal death scene, but I see how it serves the story in showing what Rand has become.
Besides annoying. He's annoyed me for many, many books now but this one...okay, I get it! I doubt I'd be handling the situation any better, but seriously.
Edits: Not yet had enough coffee for spelling.

There were wards on the door to get in (which Gateways kinda invalidate).

It's at least consistent Forsaken idiocy, considering what we saw before...

I think that's only for the Amyrlin. IIRC, no one else ever calls initiates daughters.
