I think it's part of what happens DURING T'armon Gaidon (Arthur goes to Avalon)

"The lion sword, the dedicated spear, she who sees beyond. Three on the boat, and he who is dead yet lives. The great battle done, but the world not done with battle. The land divided by the return, and the guardians balance the servants. The future teeters on the edge of a blade."
Rand's three women take him to Tar Valon (Avalon), just as in the Arthurian legends.
Rand (Arthur) will fight Moridin (Mordred) at the Battle of Caemlyn (Arthurian Battle of Camlann). Moridin will be slain, but so will Rand. The three ladies will arrive on a barge to take him to Tar Valon (Avalon) where he will need to somehow rise from the dead to finish "the Last Battle".

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

That doesn't agree with other prophecies.

The return is the Seanchan. The conflict remaining is between them and the Westlanders.

I agree that the Foretelling certainly refers to a time before TG

Wouldn't Padan Fain (Mordeth) better fill the role of Mordred? *NM*

He doesn't have an army. Moridin is just as close and fits better. *NM*

But Moridin no longer goes out himself.

Moridin will go wherever Shaitan tells him to.
