Aside from that, tGS has led me to change perceptions of some characters:

Gawyn - thought he would finally be redeemed, but he just turned out to be exactly like Aram. Not completely beyond redemption because his character is actually somewhat believable, but I still have no idea why Egwene likes him any more.

Egwene - didn't like her much until KoD, ever since then she has slowly gained my respect. Even if you hate her, you have to admit that out of all the characters, she is one of the most proactive, and that gains her some points.

Elayne - seriously needs to grow up and move beyond herself and Andor. She sucks right now.

Aviendha - awesome, but I saw right through the Wise One's challenge almost instantly.

Tuon - in KoD I liked her, at least because she was so unpredictable, but now I think she's one of my favourite characters. The only person to stand up to Evil-Rand to date.

Nynaeve - like Egwene, has moved from annoying to awesome, because she actually gets things done and even better than Egwene, she can empathise with others and sees the big picture.

Rand/Perrin/Mat - I like them all, never really changed. Rand's descent into darkness was made more endearing by the fact that part of him knew it. Mat is just cool (I didn't mind Hinterstap - my impression was that it was there to highlight the bubbles of evil), but I'm a little annoyed by him being turned into the series comic foil (which he was before, but the humour now doesn't fit WoT). Perrin actually ranks pretty high in my books because he doesn't have the OP/Luck - probably the most human of the 3.

Faile - annoyed me heaps at first, but she was much better on the second read through, and actually likeable by the end of KoD.

Siuan & Gareth - not sure what people hate here, I've never had a problem with them.

I may have missed someone somewhere along the way (it's so late here that it's early), but all in all, Gawyn and Elayne are the top contenders for Worst WoT Character, imo. Funnily enough, I like Galad (if nothing else, he is an interesting character study and he takes initiative), so it seems it's just Morgase's children.
