The first is the Semirhage and Rand scene. I thought that was quite plain.

The second was probably Egwene's decision to snip the Black Ajah. Why he'd find this surprising is beyond me, but this is Jason, after all.


Agreed on the first. Anyone who didn't find this scene intense is an emotional island.
