New mountains? Earthquakes, diverted rivers, etc. etc. Not needed at this point with the world already going to hell.
However trashing trollocs is something else. Have the Asha'man (Logain's) find a large trolloc camp/army, then gate near by with a few Asha'man / AS to cover you and rain death on them (not using Balefire). Then quickly get out of there. By the time any forsaken / dreadlords turn up in numbers they'd be long gone. Do a few times and Rand's job becomes much easier.
Sure the Last Battle won't be (or just be) a battle of troops vs. trollocs, but the Light's task would be much easier knowing they can concentrate on figuring out how to stop the DO without worrying about everyone going in a cookpot to boot.

Thoughts on Rand, the Choedan Kal, and missed opportunities.

Why not just flood the blight? Trollocs and Myrrdraal are scared of water, after all. *NM*
