You know, I was talking to my wife about Matin Stepaneos and we were both wondering why nothing was said about him in tGS. Considering this book focused on the White Tower and Egwene we thought we would see something about Matin Stepaneos, but we didn't.
Do you all think Matin Stepaneos is still in the WT or did one of the black ajah take him with them when they fled the WT? I'm thinking that Alviarrin might have taken him via gateway to Illian to try to usurp Rand's control there.

I'm sure he's still in the Tower. BS just didn't mention him, at all. I'm recalling he forgot to mention the ex-sul'dam who were with Mat, too. They weren't essential to the plot, so they were left out.
