What submerged statue did they get it from under? Sandwich Send a noteboard - 16/11/2009 01:58:50 AM
Rand seems to have a new sword during tGS. One he recognized.

Sorry if this has been discussed. But,are there any popular theories about what's special about it? Or if it's a sword we should recognize? If anything, it's a ter'angreal with no special powers other than being a very strong near unbreakable sword as no hints at all were given to it being an angreal or sa'angreal (and really, does Rand need two sa'angreal swords?)

I'm glad you asked this. I was sheepishly going to ask myself, simply because I thought I had skimmed past the explanation.

He or Min thought something about how scholars had unearthed it from beneath a submerged statue. Do we know anything about this? what statue? Where? Who is doing submarine excavation? Who gave it to him?
