Besides, couldn't she just sneak the OR away later and unbind herself?


I would think that after a Black Ajah purge it would be virtually impossible to lay her hands on the OR. Unless she had a spare one somewhere.

I don't think that Mesaana would bind herself when she could flee. She didn't go to the Cleansing either.
