I know that strength in the Power is not the be all and end all. But figuring this out is one of the aspects of the series I enjoy. It is potentially endless, and usually goes on longest between people who know quite a bit about the series.

It helps me keep my reasoning and debating skills in shape, and believe it or not, this helps me in grad school (I'm doing a PhD in cell biology).
