I don't know if this has been posted before, if it has I am sorry.
Rand will win TG and be beloved after he does so, and I can tell you why...
Virtually every "Fourth Age" snippet we get, talks about him in glowing terms. Completely contrary to the writings of the age following LTT's 15 minutes. So that says, beloved. Now, what says he'll win do you ask? Well that those "Fourth Age" snippets. Their mere existence proves he wins. Now, some people will say, they are like Min's viewings and subject to the pattern not being destroyed by a DO's victory. Well, that isn't true. They are written by historians from that age. They are recitations of past events. NOT predictions of what will come. The ones that look like predictions are really recountings of predictions made about times already past from the author's POV. So buy stock in RANDCORP. It is going to take off here in a couple books...

First of all, those snippets DO not mean he'll win. Well, they sorta kinda do. But I mean, for Christ Sakes, there was talk of a Mat spinoff for crying out loud. That means Rand must win. But the way the pattern works doesn't insure victory. Just because lets say Min sees something that will happen after TG, that does not mean TG will be a victory for the Light. It's mentioned in tGS that the viewings are what will happen IF the pattern is still there. There is no guarantee that it will still be there.
And I'm not sure anyone said anything about Rand not being beloved. Or talked of in awe. The big question is will he live, and if he lives, will he stay in the public eye or go off and be a hermit or some such.
So I just don't know what you're getting at, I guess.
Those snippets at the beginning and the end if the books. They aren't viewings and no character knows if them so anything cadsuane says can't contridict them. They are what is written by historians after TG is over and done with. Plus, the whole thing is really a history book from randland point if view in a sense.

It's a wheel, meaning that the fourth age has already happened (at the last turn) *NM*

6 turns ago. They have only fragments from the last turn. 6 turns ago there'd be nothing remembered. *NM*
