I haven't seen anyone talk about it yet, so I thought I would bring it up. When we see Perrin's chapter, (Leaving Malden), it is only one day after the battle with the Shaido, and they are preparing to leave Malden. I'm not sure how much time elapses before Nynaeve brings Tam to meet with Rand in chapter 47, but it looks like quite a bit has changed in Perrin's camp from what I can gather from the things he relates:


Rand's mood darkened slightly. "Wait. Perrin has been using Two Rivers folk?"
Tam nodded. "He needed us. That boy's put on a balancing act to impress any menagerie performer. What with the Seanchan and the Prophet's men, not to mention the Whitecloaks and the queen-"
"The queen?" Rand said.
"Aye," Tam said. "Though she says she's not the queen anymore. Elayne's mother."
"She lives, then?" Rand asked.
"She does, little thanks to the Whitecloaks," he said with distaste.

Apparently, Morgase has revealed her true identity to Perrin, which I don't recall happening earlier. And at some point, I'm guessing that Galad and his group of Whitecloaks have joined with Perrin, (which would explain about Morgase).

If that is the case, then I'm thinking Galad might have some issues, since he killed Eamon Valda because he thought he had assaulted and killed his mother. (half-right, but you know how righteous Galad is)

On top of that, Dain Bornhald and Jaret Byar were with Galad, and these two have some personal enmity toward Perrin. (I would never have expected them to meet up with Perrin again.) Looks like we're about to come full-circle on that story-line, and I wouldn't mind seeing some interaction between those three.

Looks like we missed out on a big family reunion. (I especially like the way that Tam refers to Morgase; "Elayne's mother".) I myself don't seem to recall Tam meeting Elayne, but perhaps Perrin told him about those two smooching in the Stone. (Too bad Rand didn't have time to tell Tam that he's moved on from kissing games to playing hide-the-sausage.) Of course neither are aware Rand's soon to be a father, and Tam a grandfather, either, unless Nynaeve spilled the beans to Tam.

So, is it likely that Perrin and co. will be heading to Caemlyn? Seems like there's a good chance the next battle may take place in that vicinity given Mat is headed there, (maybe already arrived). Plus we have Taim, the Black Tower and the missing AS from the rebel camp.


And I haven't seen this subject broached yet, either; Egwene's list of BA.

Is Egwene going to find a way to tell Rand he has at least one Black sister that is bound to him? (Naelaene Forrell remains now that Elza is dead) I know she has her hands full straightening out things in the WT, but, knowing that a Black sister has attached herself to the DR seems too important to ignore. And what about letting her friends, like Nynaeve, Elayne and Aviendha know about her list?

I didn't compare names on her list, but I also wonder if some Black sisters are among those bonding Asha'man....
