I hope that Egwene's Tower will have a lot to do with giving the death blow to the sul'dam/damane system, once word that the Empress and all the sul'dam are channelers.
Personally, even though I would have condemned Rand if he balefired them, a part of the reader in me that just likes a good story with large stakes, would have cracked up if he balefired the Seanchan. But that would have caused more chaos as the nations under Seanchan control fell apart with no central authority.
That being said, the main problem I have with them overall is cultural, rather than the status and dehumanization of a tiny minority of their population. They may be badass, but I'd like to see order come from a system stemming from a representative community similar to the White Tower. That seems closest to the world government that existed during the Age of Legends and the system Artur Hawkwing had in place.

I think one has to consider the Tower of Midnight in any theory

Didn't RJ say he wouldn't be writing any scenes in Seanchan proper?

Maybe he won't, but the next book is called Towers of Midnight which is in Seanchan *NM*

This is what I think. If anything happens in Seanchan it'll just be the throne being moved *NM*

I highly doubt it will be just the throne being moved... the name of the book is Towers of Midnight

The title carries symbolic and poetic value, with or without events happening in Seanchan. *NM*

You could be right... I guess it depends on how much of the chaos in Seanchan gets wrapped up

There's no way Rand will go around balefiring anymore.

Balefire against the Forsaken is completely different than balefire against cities. *NM*

I'm thinking that Rand, Mat and Perrin visit Tuon/Fortuona next.
