I think this may be a RAFO point. The Forsaken are not so many that I think the DO would be willing to sacrifice one. Semi made one mistake, true, but did much more good than Moggy did. I think that Semi made an error in terrorizing Min. She did this on her own. Also, it is interesting to note that Semi is almost at the breaking point when SH comes to her rescue. Perhaps this is why she does what she does to Min.

As for the CK, Semi cannot use it, and I do not see her wanting any male Forsaken having it. She still wants to be Naeblis, so why would she willingly hand it over to Moridin?

I do not think that Moridin knows that the odd link would allow Rand to use the TP through him. That must have been an odd feeling when it happened. If Rand can channel the TP that way, why not the OP?

Also, why do all the channelers that encounter the male a'dam talk about the darkness around it? We do not get similar comments about the female a'dam. If the male a'dam can be used to force someone to channel the TP, that might explain it. I do not know how mind you since the DO must give permission, but I do find it curious.

I really do like M. Cauthon's idea that Moridin set Semi up to really mess with Rand. Very cunning and evil. I just don't see the DO willing to sacrifice Semi at this point when it has gone to so much trouble to bring back others who have failed or been more incompetent.
