Each age is very similar to the past. Is it only this age in which Forsaken are getting balefired?
Or the single past age where entire cities were balefired?
No proof they're respun. But...it just wouldn't make sense they weren't. Imagine if Abraham Lincoln's "thread" was balefired in one of those cities.
Think of it as the "current" usage of the thread is burned off. It can be re-used, but, just for now it's done being used.
