Not entirely sure whe she made the comment, but she was probably already planning to have Silviana as her new Keeper and Katerine Alruddin was known to be Black Ajah. That means all the previous MoN in the Tower are unavailable. Tiana may be the new MoN in the Tower but there is still the issue that the rebels have lost face after having to apologise for rebelling and the fact that she seemed to be struggling to control the large numbers of novices.

I think that Sharina will be a candidate or involved somewhere.

As an aside, how many will be raise to Accepted and to Aes Sedai from the rebel camp now that they have the ability to do so?

I find it doubtful that any of the new novices could be raised to Aes Sedai so quickly. I agree that Sharina would be a good choice to be MoN. It would be interesting for Egwene to appoint an Accepted (I wouldn't be surprised to Sharina raised that far), but I don't know that she would. My guess is that Tianawill get the job until someone better comes along.

I once thought that Egwene would keep Silviana as MoN when the Tower was reunited, but that obviously isn't possible.
