Even though he was wearing yellow, Beslan just seems like such a better match for Berelain. Plus, Berelain is a trained hand to hand combatant, and while potentially not a match for an Aiel warrior, she held her own against Faile, and with Ebou Dari rituals being what they are, her temperament just seems like it would match that country.
And I'm hoping that Tuon gets assassinated or removed from power and that Berelain/Beslan take over this side of the Seanchan-controlled lands up to Mayene, while Elayne controls or unites the remaining lands.
