In this case, Moiraine's comment doesn't really matter. RugbyPlayingAshaman Send a noteboard - 05/11/2009 07:14:44 PM
It took Rand a few moments to decide to balefire the entire site. How long did Graendal really have with Ramshalan? Even if it was under thirty minutes or an hour, I don't think we have enough info to project the amount of time or the severity of the Compulsion. Keep in mind, that some people, including Aviendha and Mat, still dimly recall their deaths and some people were surprised they survived.

Balefire is more complicated than a simple prediction based on theory - mainly because the Pattern is interconnected along various points of it's warp and weft, and it doesn't necessarily travel in a single line of cause-and-effect (ie: some people aren't affected by Person A's erasure, but if Person A's erasure causes other people, say Person Z to feel some effect, they may feel the temporal backlash or the instability - personally, this is why I think so many weird things are happening).

Graendal - maybe the deadliest Forsaken - 05/11/2009 07:00:12 AM 1705 Views
It has definitely been hinted - 05/11/2009 08:37:04 AM 762 Views

RJ still put her in the top category of the Forsaken.. - 05/11/2009 05:24:06 PM 736 Views
I think she's the most deadly and intelligent. The others are idiots, IMHO. - 05/11/2009 06:38:30 PM 662 Views
This whole Graendal is alive-idea - 05/11/2009 07:13:16 PM 696 Views
I'm divided on it.. - 05/11/2009 07:19:07 PM 611 Views
Here's the deal, though. Semirhage actions actually followed part of the theory to a tee. - 05/11/2009 07:21:21 PM 604 Views

Some points no one addressed, a.k.a. Graendal lured Rand in... - 06/11/2009 05:16:12 AM 638 Views

She's definitely the deadiest - 05/11/2009 02:05:23 PM 687 Views
I think she escaped, but it says something that he had to become worse than a Forsaken to do it - 05/11/2009 06:10:08 PM 584 Views
