Spoilers - who else overdosed? No spoilers for TGS within!

I've been reading WOT since TGH was out, and have seen spoilers from LOC onwards - I remember reading about Alanna bonding Rand before reading the book.
Previously it hasn't had I think any detrimental effect on how I've enjoyed the book, but this time between the 4 year wait and wanting to know how a new author affected WOT I went overboard - every spoiler thread or discussion going before I got the book I read. Chapter names, POV's, summaries, etc. etc.
I still rate TGS in the top half of the WOT (TSR, LOC, TGH, TEoTW, TGS, KOD for my top half), but although I enjoyed it, it was almost like a re-read the first time around - my own fault for being weak.
With now knowing what a 'hybrid' RJ/BS book feels like and it only being a year wait, I'm going to try to be strong for ToM and stay away from every ToM thread with book info. prior to getting the book myself except non-spoiler reviews.
Am I the only one with spoiler reading regrets?
