I'll be honest - I continue to think he is a moron. I'm glad Gareth Bryne called him out on it.

I guess I'm not that impressed with blademasters - everytime I see how quick he is to kill and injure people, I just see him as a murderer.
I'm glad Gareth basically told him to grow up like he, Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve have and pick a side.
I also don't see what Egwene likes about him - he just doesn't seem like a stable personality compared to hers, especially now that she has become Amyrlin and Aes Sedai in fact with Elayne and Nynaeve poised to follow. It's a little sad when the women you love looks at you and has to tell you that she loves you as a woman loves a man, but (basically) she doesn't respect you because you don't know what you stand for.
And you know what? I liked Cadsuane in the book. Especially the whole - "Hey guys, we have the ability to Travel hundreds of miles in an instant. Let's actually start reuniting family members for some catch up." Heck, I'm still amazed that noone through to send Gawyn to Elayne so she could put him straight.
The man has no sense of maturity and as bearable as he somewhat was in TGS, his "storyline" has really stretched the bonds of belief. Oh well, maybe he'll miraculously sprout some IQ points in the next book.

I agree, but I think he'll find out just in the nick of time or maybe even during a duel/ambush. *NM*

I liked Gawyn. He's finally something more than a waste of page space.

I always felt he was just the convenient love interest to Egwene.

Egwene liked him because he is easy to manipulate.
