I will admit that my business partner and friend, who has avidly read Wheel of Time and just got the latest book, seems to be convinced (and thought it was OBVIOUS) that the Tinkers are very, very important. So I'll grant that on this one, you might be right.

Of course, when I asked who killed Asmodean and mentioned Slayer, he laughed and said it was stupid to even think that. It reinforced my own feelings on the subject. Slayer is a terrible choice.
