In the twelve books (as well as New Spring), I can't think of a single instance where the exact date something happened needed to be hidden, yet a fair amount of frustration (for the fanatics) could have been averted by a simple listing under the chapter name, the date (on the WOT calendar).
It's still possible in ToM.
So you could have like below, with the dates in a smaller font. It doesn't impact on book size. It's such a tiny extra amount of ink it might cost an extra 0.01c per book to add in, yet would save much hair pulling trying to put together chronologies.
