At least in TGS Nynaeve finally woke up and realised that the AS hierachy is profoundly stupid, about time someone considered that the strongest in the power shoudln't automatically be considered leaders.
This, I think, is definitely key here. The entire structure of the Aes Sedai is moronic. The strongest person is not automatically the most capable, nor should the weakest automatically be a servant.
What further infuriates me is the entire Ajah structure. Sure, let the women that want to focus on knowledge, healing, battle, etc do what they want to study, but why does it have to be in secret little sub-sects that are as divided along party lines as hardcore Democrats and Republicans. No other group of channelers is segregated like this, and every other group of channelers has been more effective in actually impacting the world around them than the Aes Sedai.
Will the Green Ajah get their act together to be ready for the last battle?

The Aes Sedai in general have been incompetent.

Doesn't help that we were introduced to the best so early in the series
