I really don't think you're a bad person, but you come up with the most ridiculous theories I've ever heard of. A much more plausible reason would be to remove a Seanchan general that is probably a "good" person to allow Darkfriends and their unwitting allies more control over Seanchan's armies.
An assassin, e.g. a Gray Man, would made much more sense. Besides that, it seems unlikely that the Shadow sees Tylee as such a threat to risk that the Seanchan ally with Rand against the Shadow.
