Potential to be another Faile-Perrin situation

His scenes by himself were okay, but his patronising attitude towards Egwene was irritating beyond belief! At least Gareth Bryne (as well as Egwene herself) called him on it.
Egwene loves Gawyn, but unless they sort this out, she is going to have a hard time respecting him, and spend a LOT of time enormously frustrated with him.

I agree, but I think he'll find out just in the nick of time or maybe even during a duel/ambush. *NM*

I liked Gawyn. He's finally something more than a waste of page space.

I'll be honest - I continue to think he is a moron. I'm glad Gareth Bryne called him out on it.

I always felt he was just the convenient love interest to Egwene.

Egwene liked him because he is easy to manipulate.
