it meant that he could pretty much do anything convenient that he felt like doing, whenever it suited him. And it meant he could bring back old minor characters that originated half way around the world and say it was because of ta'veren.


Agreed. If anyone wants to cry Deux ex Machina, there's always a rule of the universe to back RJ up.
It did seem like BS or RJ was parodying it with this chapter though. It was exceptionally well explained...
