Words are what stood out the most to me

I just finished tGS last night and, in addition to being a fanboy getting his fix, I was very impressed by how well put together it was. I noticed a few places where charaters were not quite themselves, but except for BS relying on Mat for too much comic relief (needed though it might have been in regards to the novel's balance)I do not think anyone could have done better in attempting to blend their style with Mr. Jordan's. But enough about that.
What continuity errors bothered you? Not shifts in character or seeing BS's hand too heavily, but little things. Things that even RJ forgot on occasion. I'm not doing this to gripe- I'm just curious to see what I missed.
The white rod sa'angreal- It came in a box when Suain used it to heal Mat. It's a priceless treasure. It lives in a box in a locked store room. Why was it lying on the shelf, sans box?
Verin's An'greal- I wonder if this was forgotten about. Certainly a case could be made that the pattern forced her to lose it or she may have given it to someone else. But if she's giving her life's work to Egwene, why not pass along another useful treasure.
And 1 little gripe so I don't have to make another post. Suain spelling out her thinking to Bryne regarding Min's viewing was a little dialogue heavy for me. We have her PoV there to explain her thinking, so it's really uncharacteristic of her to explain it.

Things like Vehicle, sergeant, sugar, devil and especially tempest really were strickingly out of place to me. He must of used the word tempest about 15 times when we haven’t ever seen it in the series before as I recall.
All in all though I usually was so caught up in the characters and the story that I really didn’t notice the change most of the time.
I personally really liked the Mat chapters. Yes they did seem to me to be the most irregular compared to RJ style, but I enjoyed the comic relief and found his chapters to be my favorite since CoS.

I'd be careful about going down that line of reasoning, though...
