5) I agree somewhat. I enjoyed the chapters but they didn't move the story forward. We could have had 2 or 3 Mat chapters instead of 4 or 5. The 2 or 3 would detail his plans for the cannons and have Verin show up.
But I think instead of 2 or 3 it should have been 10 and done the Moiraine rescue
. The rescue seems imminent to me. Rand saw Mat in Caemlyn when he was still in Ebou Dar. 6 days after that he arrives at Dragonmount. That means in 4 days Mat will read Verin's letter and (most likely) head to ToG.Oh I agree - either do all or nothing, a few chapters that do virtually nothing to advance hsi plotline seemed a complete waste
I'm fairly sure we'll see it all happen on screen, until Perrin's timeline shows Nynaeve (or whoever it was) showing up. We better... On the other hand... why couldn't we just have gotten that already instead of the pointless Perrin chapters we got? There must have been a lot that happened.Again agreed - I shudder to think how many chapters have been effectively wasted on the Perrin/Faile/Shaido story...and we still get some more whining about their "relationship". Tarmon Gai'don is coming guys, no-one else give's a mouse's fart as to how peaceful your marriage is, it's not exactly critical right now....
