Nyneave was sure she stripped away the compulsions, so was Rand, and at this stage both rank with the FS for OP knowledge. By your logic, she lured him somewhere, then had someone else weave a compulsion in her stead, at a level she's unlikely to have taught someone. The guy was under compulsion, then he never was, I can't see how, from the way Rand describes it, Graendal could have set a compulsion that magically sdsiappeaared and left the guy's brain untouched and back to the way it had been.
It's also almost ludicrous to propose that Graendal can anticipte Rand at that level. "He's going to suddenly behave totally different then normal and show up at my place, use a guy like a utter pawn, in this specific fashion, just so he can do something he has never shown indicators of being willing to do before and blast my fortress utterly out of existance", as planning goes she'd make Darth Sidious look like a chump, not even including the whole 'tossed into a reactor' thingy.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
