Wiseass signed the name "Robert Jordan" inside. If I was B-Sand, I'd be hopping mad at how my readers were having their purchases devalued in this way.
Some other thoughts:
- I loathe the NJ State Police. When there is an accident on I-287 they take an hour to respond, even though they were told that both cars needed to be towed and there are injuries involved. But when a pedestrian walks along that same highway inside the guardrail because that is the only way to get to the Borders up the road (especially since the four closest bookstores have closed since the release of KoD), they are blocking traffic to question him in the rain, with his breakfast getting colder in his pocket. They complain about the local police poaching the speeders and drunk drivers on that stretch of the road, but THIS is what they do when they DO wander into town. D-bag went to High School with my brother, too.
- Five people were waiting outside Borders or went in within a minute of the store opening. I was the only one to pick up a copy of tGS, which was on the rack facing the front door, so they could not have missed it. I looked around and there did not appear to be any significant new releases, so what else were they coming in for.
- It WOULD rain today of all days this week. Not that I am going out again...
- Why am I delaying reading this? I think some part of me is afraid it won't live up to expectations or that it might suck. Until I actually start reading (ahem, skip to chapter 3), I can hold on to hope. Oh well. Back later.

That's because it is not a real ending. RJ didn't want it to end there.
