This is sounding like a Jedi moral argument from the STAR WARS prequels. Which is not fun.

After they died this way, what next? You are out of weapons now.
Doesn't matter if they are gone. They are a 'bonus' weapon. You are using the Shadow's weapon to hurt them twice over.
Do you recruit more DF channelers as your weapon? Should you convert non-DF to DF so you can bind them as weapons?
Of course you wouldn't try and turn people into DF's, or try and recruit more DF channelers. If you encountered any though you could use them in the same fashion.
If you want people as your weapons, you MUST not treat them as expendable tools. It is evil. If the weapons know they will die and thrown away by you, they will just strike at you from the start, since they would die any way.
You certainly treat your non-DF people as people, not as weapons.
I thought our society has advanced enough so that veterns are not thought as mindless killing machines, but needs to integrated as part of society.
Again it's not treating the normal soldier/channelers as a killing machine. They should be given every support possible to remain human and be a part of soceity - as pretty much every solider is a part of their countries soceity. With the notable exception of the Aes Sedai who stand apart and end up distrusted by all because of it.
You treat criminals as criminals, and soldiers as soldiers. You treat soldiers with much more passion, and care. If you want the criminals to redeem themselves, and turn them into soldiers, you must treat them like regular soldiers and put as much care and passion into them as you would for regular soldiers. There is no half-way around it.
Unless they survive the Last Battle there's no point treating the DF's as cuddly people who've just made a bad decision, unless they've of their own will sought redemption BEFORE being caught - ala Ingtar and you know who the BA who wasn't (although she's a special case of not really ever BA, sort of). The BA (or any captured DF Asha'man) are a unique special case. Pevara and co. binding Talene and co. certainly hasn't suddenly had any of their POV's since TPOD filled with 'Gee those Seanchan have the right of it, let's slap an a'dam on every channeler'. They are just smart enough and pragmatic enough to do what's necessary for the best chance of giving the Light victory, with the key difference (because I'm sure it'd be raised), from Aridhol of themselves embracing doing evil. Even choosing to use DF channelers as weapons, none would start using it to suppress the general population or perform atrocities against non-Shadow, ala Mordeth's advice.

No, using evil against evil, is not being evil against evil-one is logical, the other Mordeth's path
