You're welcome. Honestly, I had never spent time at any of these sites until recently. Now I troll them constantly. I had quit reading these books altogether after book 6 as I was tired of the wait between books. Figured I'd read them all after the last one was done. On a whim, I picked them up again last November and read all 12 books (including the prequel in that count) in 7 1/2 weeks. Since then, I've been listening to the audio books on my mp3 player at work all the time. I think some friends and family are believing they should send me to rehab for my addiction now. They really think that more since I've taken time off this week just to read the new book on Tuesday.

I did almost the same thing when I got into the books. It took me two months to read the first nine books...I couldn't put them down.
My husband is one of the ones like you used to be, he read the first five or six and then stopped. And he is completely uninterested in reading them again until they are done.
Taking time off work just makes sense. Last book I had an early morning job and hadn't hardly slept when I came in to work. I was useless for two days.
Do any of your friends read fantasy? If you get them hooked you might have someone on your side! ;)
