The British paperbacks are much stronger and last longer than the US ones, but they're still doing well. EotW has lost a couple of pages from the prologue, so I need to get a new copy of that, but the rest of them are in a pretty good state, especially considering the first six have been read four times each.
Of course, Book 7 onwards is in hardcover, and they are much harder-wearing.
The only thing putting me off buying a new EotW is that the new paperback cover spines are totally different to the originals, and I know I'll end up being tempted to buy a whole new set to match, which isn't really necessary.

Yeah, but how would yours stand up to the rubbing, touching & fondling that DK Sweet's art draws? *NM*
