It went on for just the right amount of time, and was built up perfectly. The other ones seemed too much like the Wheel willed it to happen and *poof* they were in love!
It's not everyday you get to choose which of the main protagonists three wenches you like the most. Usually you get stuck with his 'soulmate' and you have to live with it.
It's kind of nice to not have Rand ranting about Elayne like Lews Therin did about Ilyena. Rand keeps his mouth shut because he can't choose which woman to compliment, so he says nothing. He just sends sex along the bond.
