Well, they did learn about Deathgates, Blossoms and arrows of fire, haven't they?

They could manage with what they already have learned and develop it, and start experimenting. They might also see LTT/Rand use more combat weaves before TG.

At the moment, LTT and Rand are too paranoid to teach Asha'man, but that's one problem to solve, not necessarily something that won't be solved. The less the Light manages to solve these communications and trust issues, the greater the odds the Shadow wins.

But training by LTT was not a major point in my argument, really. Just a possibility. What's important now is that Logain steps up and makes sure all his Asha'man are trained with this new stuff. But I can see Logain arguing with Rand that he must convince LTT to teach them what he knows, that if he had not been at the manor that day, or sick etc. he would have lost most of his inner circle, that he mustn't wait until his forces need this stuff to pass on these weaves, and remind him again of Taim's 'special classes'.

If Rand never learns to trust Logain and co., the Light is pretty screwed.
