I really like Sanderson as an author and storyteller, but it was never going to be the same post-Jordan. And, as others are happy to pontificate on, Jordan, and his series, had flaws. Speaking just of the conclusion, it was no doubt disappointing to see Fain's storyline, for example, resolved in such a anti-climactic manner.
But overall, when I put the final book down, I felt it had concluded the story well, keeping me entertained and doing justice to the epic tale started years earlier.
Maybe I'm just easy to please.
