View original postI used to re-read the whole series every time a new book came out, but have not since KOD was released. I struggled to get through the BSand books so I'm also dreading getting to the end of Jordan's work.

Yeah, I didn't read the BS books when they came out. I bought them and held off reading them until AMoL was released. I did a complete reread at that point and when I got the his books it became really difficult to continue reading the story. It was almost a physical blow. I read some Mat chapters and I had to put the book down for days because I was so distraught. These were not the same characters! Some were not even close! Did his wife not even read these books! How could she have let this happen! I'm ranting on, I'm sorry. I was just very disappointed because I cared so much about these characters.
