View original postI just started a re-read a few weeks ago, started with NS then EoTW and have gotten to the point in TGH where Rand has just met Selene (i.e. Lanfear) in the Mirrorworld.

I'm literally going out on my front porch to sit and start my reread. I'm going to skip NS this time around though. This will be around my 5th or 6th reread and first since AMoL came out.

I used to re-read the whole series every time a new book came out, but have not since KOD was released. I struggled to get through the BSand books so I'm also dreading getting to the end of Jordan's work.

I started a new sub-thread below with some early observations from this re-read, funny how I am already starting to see things slightly differently than I had in previous re-reads, probably because I'm far enough removed to do so!

Reading NS first was interesting this time because there are some interesting omissions from EoTW when you realize how dumb Moiraine seems
