Zombie Post That is a very nice way to put it, "more than the sum of their parts." Also, I believe the Seanchan Sul'dam would be able to use the domination bands on male channelers because as we see when Semirhage attacked and attempted to capture Rand she brought extra Sul'dam with her. The reason Seanchan channelers cannot link more than two together is because the a'dam prevents it not because of an inherent flaw or lack of knowledge (the a'dam's prevention of "linkage" keeps factions of Sul'dam from creating a rebellion in which they would be too powerful to defeat (which is an extremely important plot device for stories about Seanchan's past and future)) but of necessity because the Empire is about stability and control. I propose that the Seanchan will discover that the Sul'dam can in fact use the domination band on male channelers and I highly suspect that is how they were able to defeat the Black Tower and drive them into fighting "in secret" in the future that Aviendha saw. The Seanchan like the Romans or the Ottomans were, are excellent administrators and good administrators hate waste (except their own of course!) which is why I don't believe the Seanchan will keep killing male channelers. They will see the great battle/engineering potential of collared male channelers and will mercilessly exploit them for the glory of the Empire and Empress, may she live forever.
