The Egwene plotline was particularly unsatisfying. She went through a lot of growth, and had more to learn when her plot just came to an end. Meanwhile, less-developed characters, such as Elayne and Min, just seemed to ballet step from one book to another with little growth. I am in the minority in that I like characters who have good reasons for disagreeing or who have non-perfect personality traits. Like her or not, Egwene went through the most humiliation throughout the series in manners similar to Rand and she worked for basically everything she got.
