Once as a young grad student I complained to a friend of all the homework I was grading, at least 30! pages of math, she became incensed and dropped her own on the table, which was a couple hundred pages of freshmen English writing and cajoled me into assisting, and I nearly wanted to gouge my own eyes out by fifth one. That said I'd choose to assume the writing skill level was better with RAFO... which is admittedly no great concession, I don't think those could have been worse without giving the authors prefrontal lobotomies.
