A stretch, but a couple of things, perhaps. BlackAdder Send a noteboard - 01/10/2009 02:57:57 PM
Eh, I apologize for my bad English in advance. :)

So, it's been quite some time since I read WoT and I've only read it once (you might call me a casual fan). I don't recall the specific power structures or all the particular events of the series (20 tomes?) but I still disctinctly remember most of the characters. Yesterday my long-standing theory that Alivia is in fact Moridin in disguise got disproven by a friend based on gender differences in using the Power (I had conveniently forgotten that - stupid, I know). But is there any chance the dark one could potentially twist male/female approaches to the power or somehow make it possible for a male channeler to channel the female side of the power and vice versa?

(please don't flame me for asking an ignorant question) :)

I really don't see how Alivia could be Moridin. On what are you basing this?

1) She is really strong. Like, really. REALLY strong, I say.

2) She is supposed to "help Rand die" - perfect role for Moridin.

But yeah, I don't believe it.
