- Scene in the book
Favorite: Androl dumping a lava flow on thousands of Trollocs was pretty fun.
Least favorite: Actually three: the random swordsmen fighting their way through hundreds of channelers and thousands of support troops to duel the lead general of the Sharan force on three separate occasions was just too much.
- Plot wrap up
Favorite: Moghedien being collared after inverting a Mask of Mirrors while thinking about how she can set herself up as a Dark Empress was LOL-worthy. Honestly, you'd expect that she'd Travel away as soon as she almost got blasted away by the Dragons or not walk through the Seanchan area after her last experience with the a'dam.
Least favorite: Rand sings a song that makes plants grow, and no Tinkers were nearby to hear it. Oh well. I guess the scene where that Tinker woman realizes that they are no better than cowards was supposed to wrap this up.
- Character death
Best: Doesn't really count but having Graendal's Compulsion backfire and destroy her brain was pretty entertaining.
Worst: Birgitte. Hated the brutal death, plus how perfunctory the whole lead in was. I thought Elayne was surrounded by Guardswomen near many Kinswomen and soldiers?
- New tidbit of knowledge
Best: When channelers Bond each other, they may be able to access each other's Talents.
Worst: While we are told sa'angreal are much rarer than angreal, and most are constructed with buffers, apparently most sa'angreal must have been constructed without buffers because the few remaining ones are flawed or lack buffers. Maybe they should just have built in ter'angreals like access keys since you'd be risking burnout by using one.
