I'll agree on #1, that certainly felt like a Brandonism to me, and it felt out of place. It just wasn't written like something RJ would have wrote and it came off as silly and childish.
Perrin's final battle with Slayer was good. I'd long felt that Perrin's purpose in the LB would be to kill Slayer, and it was good to see him literally hammer Slayer once he had truely mastered T'A'R.
I wasn't particularly bothered by Sakarnen.
Rand's fight with the DO didn't bother me much either. I've felt for a while that victory against the DO itself wouldn't be just about physical might.
