The complete lack of participation on the message board is kind of a testament to how little the book seems to have engaged the readership.

So... What was your favorite and Lear favorite:

1. Scene in the book

I think for me the best scene was LAN killing Demandred ... Totally paid off on his bad assery as a Blademaster

Worst was Egwene being caught by some Sharan who babbled some stupid crap at her with o payoff ... Lame

2. Plot wrap up

Best: Mat finally getting in Tuon's pants
Worst: Rand convincing Tuon to sign his treaty I. Like 4 sentences

3. Character death

Best: Egwene ... Going down in a blaze of glory (even if some of the details were flawed) fit her character very well ... She ended as many of the greatest Amyrlins that she kept referring too in earlier books ... Nicely done RJ.

Worst: Birgitte ... I will never forgive the author for such a brutal death without even the hint of heroism ... Yeah she came back as a hero to get her revenge, but I hated that Hanlon chopped off her fucking head in such a casual way ... BOO!

4. New tidbit of knowledge (OP or otherwise)

Best: Demandred being in Shara
Worst: seems you can deflect a shield even when it's wielded with the strength of a massive sa'angreal ... Seriously? Stupid
Domani Drag Queen in the White Tower ... Aran'gar watch out!
