He wanted the Dark One to win so the Wheel of Time would be broken and he would stop being reborn to the same war over and over again. Since he failed and will be tormented by having to go through it all again.





This is my opinion...

1. Balefired... Therefore missed by the DO and out of his grasp.
- Be'lal
- Aran'gar
- Semirhage (Rand personally thought he saved her from a worse fate with balefire)
- Rahvin
- probably Asmodean
- Sammael (mashadar.... Seems like the effect is similar)

2. Killed post-sealing (all ties to DO cut and all his power down to zero)
- Ishamael

3. Still alive i.e. post sealing and will never face his wrath when they die
- Mesaana
- Moghedien
- Graendal

4. Eternal torment i.e. conventional death prior to sealing
- Lanfear
- Demandred
- Osan'gar

Is this how you see it? Depends on how tightly you believe the DO has souls bound to him I guess...
