I'm not sure if anyone else discussed this yet, but I wanted to discuss this major red herring by RJ.
"Into the heart he thrusts his sword,
into the heart, to hold their hearts.
Who draws it out shall follow after,
What hand can grasp that fearful blade?"
I always thought that this passage referred to Narisha pulling Callandor out of the stone. I thought Narisha would have a big role to play due to this passage. I was wrong.
I think it clearly refers to Moridin. The interested thing is that this kind of forshadows the bodyswap. Moridin takes Callandor from Rand by injuring his own hand. Interestingly, Rand eventually becomes Moridin completing the "shall follow after" part of this passage. The whole "who draws it out" doesn't necessarily have to refer to the Stone like we always assumed.
Interesting how RJ messed around with so many years before the end.
