AMoL has never and will never exist Dark Knight Send a noteboard - 24/01/2013 01:39:11 AM
The last 3 books are not Robert Jordan's AMoL. Brandon Sanderson is a brave and talented author who was asked to lift an incredibly heavy brick, muscles near the point of tearing, and crab-shuffle a couple of feet and drop it back down. Sometimes I have to sit back and marinate on that fact. This was not AMoL. Robert Jordan died before finishing what would have been AMoL.

It's frustrating, like hearing the most beautiful song and never being able to find out who sang it. I'm glad to have heard the song, but I mourn never being able to hear it again. RJ's true version will never exist in this world. Sigh...still, I'm grateful for BS for writing something that would give us a good idea what that book would have looked like. Cheers guys, it's been fun discussing this series for so many years.

You are always so negative. Can't you just enjoy something or let us like it in peace? - 25/01/2013 12:05:40 AM 720 Views
