Just finished AMOL and I have to say I agree with alot of people here, Fain didn't get the final development he deserved, Alivia helping Rand die wasn't really explained and I would have loved the epilogue to be a few hundred extra pages so we could see what/where everyone was going. Hopefully the encyclopedia does this as I've heard the outriggers are scrapped?
One thing I havn't seen on this board was anything about Shadar Haran. What the heck happened? He was this badass eyeless the forsaken feared. He appeared to have his own agenda (when he commented on wanting to sever ties to Shayol Ghul, etc) and then no one gets to fight him, the light side doesn't even see him. He is just the shell that the dark one pops out of off screen...WTH?!
Seems a wasted opportunity if you ask me..thoughts?

Meh, Shadar Haran was just an avatar the DO was using to extend his reach a little, and as the seal weakened he became less and less tied to Shayol Ghul, but... It also meant the DO had less and less need for an avatar...
Once it was time for the LB itself, there was no real reason for him, even more so as Rand actually came to talk to him "face to face".
